Data Deletion Instructions

Capturely is privacy-first: most of your data (recordings, screenshots, account tokens) lives only on your device. The steps below describe how to remove every kind of data that can be associated with your use of the App.

1. Revoke App Access on Facebook

If you connected a Facebook account for live streaming, you can disconnect Capturely at any time:

Open Facebook → Settings → Business Integrations on a desktop browser, or open the Facebook app → Menu → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
Locate Capturely in the list.
Tap Remove and confirm.

Once you remove the app, Facebook revokes our access token and we can no longer call any Graph API on your behalf. Any cached profile/page identifiers held in our diagnostic logs are anonymized and automatically purged within 30 days.

2. Revoke App Access on Google / YouTube

Visit myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Find Capturely, click it, then click Remove access.

3. Delete Local App Data on Your Device

Open Settings → Apps → Capturely on your Android device.
Tap Storage & cache → Clear storage. This removes all preferences, cached tokens, and local logs.
To remove your screen recordings, open the Files or Gallery app and delete them from the Movies/Capturely folder.
Optionally, uninstall the App: long-press the icon → Uninstall.

4. Request Server-Side Deletion

If you would like us to delete any remaining diagnostic data (crash reports, anonymized analytics events) that may be associated with your installation, send an email to contact@mojata.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include:

The platform you connected (Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
The username, page ID, or channel ID you used (if any).
An approximate date range of usage.

We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days, in accordance with applicable laws (GDPR, CCPA).

5. What Data Is Deleted

Any access tokens we may have stored — already deleted on token revocation (steps 1–2).
Any crash reports or analytics events tied to your installation in Firebase.
Any support correspondence, after the legal retention period.

6. Confirmation

Once deletion is complete, you will receive an email confirmation at the address you wrote from. If you do not receive a confirmation within 30 days, please re-send your request.
